*The pointies...are back!
Pointed shoes where the rave in the 1990’s, every girl had
to have a pair, and they could be worn with almost anything…gowns, skirts,
trousers, you name them. A look at our mum’s album would this as every wedding
picture involved the pointes. Eventually though, as it always is with fashion, it evolved. Newer styles
came along and the once cherished pointies where discarded to make room for
newer shoe designs, designers called and the women followed.
These babies have
made a comeback though, and once again taking the ladies along with it. They are
bigger, better and a lot cuter, they come in heels, flats and are of different
colours, though i must say, I prefer them in black and nude colours as you can never go wrong with that. They are a must have for even the not fashion inclined as they are
very practical and they portray confidence, class and elegance. The pointy toe
pump is a great instant slimming style for everyone because the eye
travels longer down to the toe, creating the illusion of longer legs. They also give
the impression that one has longer legs. Over all, the pointies look like they
are here to stay as they could be worn casually with jean trousers and dressed
up with a gown, either way, the turnout is fab!
*Dare to Mix!
It must be noted that mixed patterns aren’t just something you throw on in a whim, but for the bold and adventurous with statements to make, here, body carriage is also of utmost importance.
Hesitant about mixing patterns? Not so long ago, these where fashion donts and even the most respected celebrities dared not risk getting caught in it. Recently though, mixing patterns have become a very popular trend. It does involve a bit of hard work too as it takes a lot of sense to get the right patterns together. Once you get a hang of it though, you are good to go.

PS: Florals are the easiest patterns to mix.
*BORROWED FROM THE BOYS...
we especially love the boyfriend troucsers becouse of the slashes and cuts that come with them, an excuse to show some flesh and not look trash. You'll want these boyfriend jeans to pair with your day sequins. A plaid shirt is the perfect brunch option for virtually all of your solid bottoms. A men's belt is the new must have. and in the eveniongs, instead of the same old little black, you could stand out in boyfriend-inspired details. A white tuxedo shirt, a tux jacket tailored for ladies or a pair of tuxedo striped trousers will take you far. Use the white button-up you already have (or actually your boyfriend's) and pair it with a tie and suspenders for head-turning, daring style. The got thing about this trend is, you dont have to go shopping, all you need is around y, you could creativelly rip and shape-up you brother/boyfriend's old, trousers, shirts, belts.
